Open House |
Here at Adams' Glass Studio, we host an annual Open House the weekend after Thanksgiving. The dates and times this year are November 26th from 6pm until 9pm, November 27th from 9am until 5pm, and November 28th from 1pm until 5pm. Every year at Adams' Glass, Mr. Adams introduces a new angel to add to the vast collection already available. Open House is when our faithful customers know that the newest angel is ready to be added to their personal collection or give as a gift. Not only do we display our own work, but local artists also bring their work to the studio to display. This artwork varies from year-to-year, ranging from purses to papyrus paintings, from kiln-fired glass to walking sticks. Along with the artwork for sale in the store, we display antiques and host a cheese and wine tasting. The feautred guest artists this year include the late Ed Walter, Matt Brabbam, Carol McCrady, Nita Crawford, Frances Davenport, and Rex Thrash. All of these artists are very talented in their skill. Also, every artist featured at the Open House practices their trade locally, so come out and support your local art scene. Every year we send out an invitation to whomever is on our mailing list. Below you will find a map showing you the general area of where Adams' Glass Studio is located. It is located approximately 5 miles south of Troy, AL on Highway 231 South. As you are driving, you will see a Pinkard's Gas Station on the right hand side of Highway 231. Adams' Glass Studio is directly across the street on the left hand side of Highway 231.
